appoints Director of Technology

is pleased to confirm the appointment of Scott Nickerson as Director of Technology.
Having joined the company this past autumn, Mr. Nickerson has quickly managed
to completion several key objectives including the new BookWhere release 4.3.1
which is available to all customers effective today.
Mr. Nickerson brings a wealth of
systems, networking and programming experience with him having previously
been the Director of Networks and Systems for Dalhousie University, one of
Canada’s leading academic institutions, and Director
of Product Development for Core Networks, which focused on management software
for the cable modem industry. He also has a background in libraries, having
worked with Novanet Inc., a non-profit organization responsible for the management
of the integrated library system for a large consortium of university and college
libraries in the province of Nova Scotia.
Since Mr. Nickerson’s arrival,
WebClarity has seen enhancements in customer service and support through
the addition of new staff and the development and introduction of a customer
management system to streamline the management and distribution of thousands
of customer registrations and license activations. In addition to the new
BookWhere release, several improvements have been made to the BookWhere Online
product and a new release is targeted for MARC Notepad.
