Testing Network Connectivity from BookWhere
BookWhere provides a simple method
for verifying network connectivity on the most
common ports used by library databases servers.
- From the menu choose Options-->Network Test
- Click Start Network
Test
- Scroll through the list
of ports tested, and note any that report 'Failure'.
Please refer your Network Administrator to our
document: Network
Ports Required for proper operation of BookWhere for
detailed information on firewall configuration
which may be required. If all ports test Successfully you do not have any firewall concerns.
