Using MARC Notepad with BookWhere

• Open MARC Notepad with a blank document to receive records from BookWhere
  

• Open BookWhere and perform a search
• Select one or more records from the result list
• Use a right-mouse click --> SendTo --> MARC Notepad
  

• Switch to MARC Notepad
  

• Double-click on the record in MARC Notepad to open the editor
  

• Double-click on a tag to open the tag editor
  

• Toggle between the Advanced or the Basic tag editor according to your preference
  

• Apply a Macro to a record or set of records to add holdings or remove extraneous tags
  

• Return to BookWhere; start a new search to locate more records
  

• Save the records for subsequent editing or import to your library management system
