Update BookWhere's Display Rules

BookWhere includes hundreds of rules for extracting and displaying various fields of information from retrieved records. Over time we add new fields and modify existing fields as MARC standards and cataloguing practices change. This tool will update your display rules to the latest available definitions.

Update Procedure

• Ensure BookWhere is closed.
• Run the Display Rule Refresher to update BookWhere's rules for extracting useful information for records.
• If BookWhere users login under various user names on the same machine, this utility must be run by each user to upgrade their display rules.
• Important Note: If you have modified any of BookWhere's generic Display Rules your changes will be lost if you run this utility!
