Iowa City Public Library purchases PeopleWhere

Staff at ICPL will soon be checking online for their work schedules. They won’t just see the hours they’re scheduled to work, but they’ll also know in advance what specific jobs and critical tasks they’ve been assigned. This level of detail along with the currency of the information are two reasons the Library chose PeopleWhere.

With the use of their building and collections at an all time high, ensuring that their core service desks and programs are staffed is really important to ICPL. In fiscal year 2011 more than 768,000 people visited the Library and over 1.5 million items were circulated or downloaded. Children’s outreach programming increased from 133 in the previous year to over 320. We are very pleased to be working with such a vital community organization. Welcome Iowa City Public Library!
