CEDRO upgrades BookWhere software

CEDRO (Centro Español de Derechos Reprográficos [in English, the Spanish Reproduction Rights Centre]) has upgraded to the Premium BookWhere Suite with the added option of enhanced batch search. They search for bibliographic data and add information about the books that they already have in their internal catalog. They also search for new titles that they can then add to their internal catalog.

CEDRO is a non-profit association based in Madrid whose mission is to represent and defend the legitimate interests of authors and publishers of books and periodicals by authorizing and endorsing the legal use of their works. The organization manages their intellectual property rights (reproduction, processing, public disclosure, and distribution) in a collective manner. They were authorized for this role by the Spanish Ministry of Culture in 1988, under the Intellectual Property Act.
