Halton Catholic District School Board expands and upgrades to BookWhere Suite

An expansion to the Library Technical Services team has meant a renewed commitment to using BookWhere as a key copy cataloguing tool to the Halton Catholic District School Board.  And this time they are upgrading as well as expanding their use of the software.  The new features in BookWhere Suite will mean the team can make global edits to records before they import into their library system.  These edits can mean multiple tag deletions or additions and can involve a couple of tags or many.  What will make the process even simpler is that any frequent edits can be grouped together into an easily defined macro and run in a matter of two clicks on one record or a group of records.  Records can be supplied directly from the BookWhere search interface, or a file of MARC records can be opened and reviewed and edited.  This additional functionality will make what is already an important component in their cataloging process even more valuable.
